01. General Bracket Orthodontics

General orthodontics refers to ‘bracket orthodontics’, which is a method of orthodontics using verified and safe appliances.
It uses the force of various appliances attached to the teeth to move the teeth and align them into the correct position.

02. What is clear aligner?

Clear aligner is a dental correction treatment that uses a frame made of clear resin (special reinforced plastic).
It is removable, unlike orthodontics that attach metal to the teeth, and the orthodontics method is considerably simplified by using an orthodontic appliance with plastic material instead of wire.
The treatment takes about one year, and the patient usually visits the dentist every 2 to 8 weeks.

Since movement of the teeth is not progressed in a row sequentially according to a set law or rule,
orthodontics should be carried out by replacement with a new device. To move a tooth, a force must be applied to the tooth,
and that force in a clear aligner appliance is generated by the correctional force of the material itself,
correctional force by stress generated when masticating, and correctional force by auxiliary devices
(for example, rubber between the upper and lower jaws connected to the button attached to the clear plastic frame).
